Hello everyone out there in Deschutes Trout Unlimited!

We had a great turnout for our first training session for the Deschutes Restoration Outreach Project on April 3.  I counted about 32 people interested in becoming a Deschutes Basin Steward that day and we had a great list of speakers on the agenda for them.

I am looking forward to working closely with our partner organizations and the Stewards in the coming months to actively engage with our community to create this stewardship program and increase the awareness and need for us as individuals to take an active roll with the processes of restoring the Central Oregon area.
